Reservation and cancellation policy
1. Scope and Applicability
1.1. These Terms and Conditions govern the legal relationship between a person (hereinafter referred to as the Client) and the owner of the website www.majascesis.lv – SIA "Mājas Cēsīs", which provides online hotel reservation services. 1.2. When booking services online, in addition to these Terms and Conditions, the applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia shall also apply. 1.3. A reservation may only be made by an adult and legally capable person (from 18 years of age). If a reservation is made by a minor or an incompetent person, the person whose payment method (card, account) was used is responsible for the transaction.
2. Prices
2.1. All prices are indicated in euros (EUR) and already include all applicable taxes. 2.2. Please carefully read the terms and conditions of the selected price – some offers require prepayment, and if such a reservation is canceled, the payment may not be refunded.
3. Payment
3.1. The Client must make full payment for the selected service at the time of booking. 3.2. Making payment means that the Client has read and agrees to the reservation terms and conditions. 3.3. Payment can be made by internet banking or Visa/MasterCard credit and debit cards.
4. Reservation and confirmation
4.1. For the reservation to be valid, the Client must fill in all mandatory fields (arrival/departure dates, name, e-mail, etc.). 4.2. The reservation is considered confirmed only after receiving confirmation to the specified e-mail address.
5. Cancellation, changes and refund procedure
5.1. Cancellation and refund policies may vary depending on the selected offer. Some rates do not provide for refunds (for example, in the case of prepayment). 5.2. The reservation is valid only for the specified period. Unused services after this period are no longer valid and are not compensated. 5.3. To change a reservation, it is necessary to make a new reservation and cancel the existing one. Please note that the new conditions may have a different price or different rules. 5.4. If the Customer does not arrive at the hotel or cancels the reservation after the allowed period, a No-Show fee may be applied - up to 100% of the first night's fee. If other costs are incurred, the Customer must cover them. 5.5. The confirmation email will indicate the free cancellation period. Please check it carefully.
6. Privacy Policy
6.1. All data provided by the Customer during the reservation process is considered confidential and processed in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations. 6.2. Customer data is not disclosed to third parties, except when required by law. 6.3. Only data that the Customer voluntarily provided during the reservation - for example, name, surname, contact information, etc. - are processed. 6.4. Payment security is ensured by SSL encryption, which guarantees information protection against unauthorized access.
7. Hotel Policy
7.1. Arrival/Departure: The room is available from 14:00 on the day of arrival to 12:00 on the day of departure. 7.2. Smoking: All rooms are non-smoking. If smoking is detected in the premises, the hotel may apply an additional fee for cleaning and damages.
8. Dispute Resolution and Final Terms
8.1. All possible disputes between the Client and the hotel are first resolved through negotiations. If an agreement is not reached, the Client may contact the Consumer Rights Protection Center. 8.2. In matters not regulated by these terms, the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia shall apply.
