The exhibition reflects on the conditions of visibility in a world where light and pixels increasingly replace face-to-face human interaction.
About the event
Contemporary screens have become environments where we encounter others while simultaneously discovering ourselves. Within these shifting surfaces, human presence gains vivid visibility yet also loses its individuality, oscillating between recognizability and anonymity.
In his paintings, Ritums Ivanovs explores this subtle borderland, where the human figure gradually emerges from structures of light and color, existing between direct presence and illusion: between a person and their image. The exhibition reflects on the conditions of visibility in a world where light and pixels increasingly replace face-to-face human interaction.
