Ten Photos of the Ginkgo
A month ago, Cēsis witnessed an impressive event – in the courtyard of the upcoming Konrāds Quarter, the LABIE KOKI team planted a nine-meter-tall maidenhair (ginkgo biloba) tree.
Like the buildings of the Cēsis Old Town, it is a true witness of the past – only much older, having survived both the Ice Ages and the dinosaurs.
The dinosaurs are long gone, but the ginkgo remains. Very soon, the ginkgo in the Konrāds Quarter courtyard will be open for all residents of Cēsis and visitors to admire.
