The First Guest of Konrāda Quarter – The President of Latvia
On the first day of summer, the President of Latvia, Edgars Rinkēvičs, became the first guest to visit Konrāda Quarter. We showed the President and his team the rental apartments, the Draugu Gallery, the Draugiem Group office, and the public courtyard featuring a ginkgo tree and stunning views of Cēsis Castle and the beauty of the old town.
Konrāda Quarter was created with a single purpose – to make Cēsis a great place to live, to provide a space where local residents can spend time every day, and to create a destination they can proudly introduce to visitors. At the end of the visit, we presented the President with a copy of the book "A Glimpse into the Future of the Past", which tells the story behind Draugiem Group’s motivation to invest in Cēsis.
Very soon, during the International Chess Festival CĒSIS, every resident of Cēsis and every visitor to the city will have the opportunity to explore Konrāda Quarter in Cēsis’ Rose Square.
