The Prime Minister visits the architectural gems and education sector of Cēsis

In the fall, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, Evika Siliņa, visited Cēsis region on an official working visit. During the day, the Prime Minister got acquainted with the education sector of Cēsis region, visited the Cēsis clinic and the “Konrāda kvartāls” project in the old town of Cēsis implemented by the company “Draugiem Group”.

While getting to know the recent architectural gems of Cēsis and their creators, the “Mājas Cēsīs” team took the Prime Minister on a tour of the “Spīdalas nams”, which was renovated this year, and introduced us to the construction of the future “Konrāda kvartāls”, which will open its doors next year. The Prime Minister also met with our teacher at the Vidzeme Technology and Design Technical School, Jekābs Krīgerts, who confirmed that we have a capable generation of young programmers growing up.

“Cēsis region surprises! I was sincerely pleased to evaluate the development of Cēsis region, which is possible both through the implementation of projects by the municipality and thanks to the ideas and ambition of local entrepreneurs. Cēsis region proves that the distance to the capital does not affect the implementation of ambitious ideas, the operation of strategically important institutions and innovative, internationally oriented companies,” says Evika Siliņa.

“It is important for us to express the company's values ​​in the work we do, in the places we develop, and in the words we say! That is why, as a Cēsis native, I am pleased to be able to develop various ideas in Cēsis, with which we, as a company, have common values. Investing in our hometown is a kind of tax to this place that has invested in our development,” says Agris Tamanis, the owner of “Mājas Cēsis”, with a smile.
